Processing of personal data on the tbs.ubbcluj.ro website and adjacent subsites

This website and the adjacent websites are owned and managed by the Faculty of Business based in Cluj-Napoca, 7 Horea Street, Cluj-Napoca, Cluj County, for which data confidentiality is an essential component. Our data protection policy and practices focus on ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability.

This confidentiality statement applies to the main operational entity of the Faculty of Business.

The Faculty of Business does not process or store personal data in the EU and is able to demonstrate at any time compliance with the laws of the European Union as well as with the principles established in this document.

This privacy statement represents the complete privacy policy applicable to the online activities of the Faculty of Business. This statement explains the types of information we collect from users and how we use this information.

Our website is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), which is a mandatory legislative act. The GDPR creates new rights for individuals and strengthens some existing rights under Directive 95/46/EC.

The data protection policy on this site is based on the following data protection principles:

- Data processing will be done in a legal, fair and transparent manner;
- Data collection will only be done for specified didactic purposes (knowledge contest admission, alumni), explicit and legitimate and the data will not be further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes;
- Data collection will be adequate, relevant and limited to the information necessary for the purpose of processing;
- The data will be accurate and, where necessary, updated;
- All necessary measures will be taken to ensure that incorrect data is deleted or corrected without delay;
- The data will be kept in a form that does not allow the identification of the person concerned and for a period no longer than that in which the data is processed;
- All data will be kept confidential and stored in a manner that ensures the necessary security;
- The data will not be distributed to third parties unless it is necessary for the purpose of providing services according to the agreements;

 

Personal data

Personal data Means any information that can be linked to an identified or identifiable natural person (subject person). Personal data include all types of direct or indirect information (i.e. used in connection with other data) that refer to the subject, such as name, surname, postal code, date of birth, addresses, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers telephone, etc.

 

Data collection

The data we collect includes the following:

- we collect data about the geographical location, the operating system used by your device, the web browser used and about the way in which you and the device interact with our sites.
- we collect data related to the web pages accessed, the number of new accesses, the least accessed pages, the most accessed pages, the time spent on a certain page
- we collect data about the features you use and the web pages you visit on our sites.
- we collect data about your IP address (geographic IP area), regional settings and language settings.
- all the data mentioned above have the sole purpose of improving the user experience on our sites and subsites and increasing the number of new users
- we collect strictly confidential personal data through the MS FORMS forms strictly for the admission to the knowledge contest and for the registration of graduates of the Faculty of Business - ALUMNI, these data are not forwarded to third parties.

 

Use of data

We will use traffic analysis data only in the context and purpose of improving our site and subsites.

The personal information collected through MS FORMS is confidential, will be used only for didactic purposes for the registration of candidates and will not be transmitted to third parties.

 

Security of processing

In case of a security breach, which can be represented by an accident, a loss of data or an unauthorized access, the Faculty of Business will inform the authorities represented in Romania by A.N.S.P.D.C.P. (National Supervisory Authority for the Processing of Personal Data) within a maximum of 72 hours from the discovery of the security breach.

Access and rectification or deletion of personal data.

 

Information and marketing emails

The Faculty of Business have the right to send informational e-mails to users with their consent. This specific form of consent must be freely given, specifically and precisely informed. Any user has the right to request not to receive notification/information/marketing e-mails, this can be specified electronically by e-mail to the faculty address: secretariat.tbs@ubbcluj.ro

Visitors will always have the right to object, upon request and at no cost. Users can send us an electronic message to the e-mail address: secretariat.tbs@ubbcluj.ro.

 

Claims

Visitors have the right to file a complaint related to data processing. All questions and complaints will be processed by us in a timely manner and in accordance with internal procedures.
