Tutoring represents a student support and counseling program aimed at facilitating integration into university life and encouraging students’ communication and trust toward UBB and the academic environment.
A few of the tutors’ responsibilities include:
📌 Supporting students in understanding how the university and faculty function, in order to help them adapt effectively to the requirements of each academic year;
📌 Assisting students in accessing university resources (libraries, computer labs, etc.);
📌 Reminding students of important deadlines for submitting various applications (enrollment, re-enrollment, dormitory accommodation, scholarships, etc.);
📌 Guiding students regarding opportunities to continue their studies at the master’s or doctoral level;
📌 Evaluating students’ experiences to improve strategies, methodologies, and activities that have a developmental impact;
📌 Providing counseling to help students explore their personal interests and skills;
📌 Offering advice on solving personal issues related to student life (temporary health issues affecting learning, emotional difficulties, exam-related stress, panic attacks, anxiety, etc.);
📌 Assisting students in making decisions and solving administrative or academic problems.
