Important announcement!
The period for providing information regarding the coordination of thesis work has been extended until Sunday, October 26, 2025. Therefore, if there are questions about the proposed topics or the specific requirements of each faculty member, please send them to the faculty members via Microsoft Teams or email. After this date, the selection process will begin, which will follow the following schedule:
Stage 1 of registration (students): October 27 – October 30
Stage 1 of selection (teaching staff): October 31
Stage 2 of registration (students): November 1 – November 4 (students who were rejected in stage 1 or who did not apply in stage 1 will apply again. In this stage, only the teaching staff who have not filled the 20 spots can be selected)
Stage 2 of selection (teaching staff): November 5
Stage 3 of registration (students): November 6 – November 9 (students who were rejected in previous stages or who did not apply in these stages will apply again. In this stage, only teachers who have not filled their 20 spots can be selected).
Stage 3 of selection (teachers): November 10.
After this date, students who have not been accepted by a supervising teacher (if any remain) will be able to contact directly the teachers who still have available spots. Students who are extending their studies will not go through this process, as they will keep their previously assigned supervisor. If they wish to change supervisors or if they had not chosen a supervisor in previous years, they will contact the teachers directly.
Application Process for Bachelor’s/Master’s Thesis Supervision
The process of selecting a supervisor for the bachelor’s or master’s thesis begins each year at the beginning of October. To assist students in choosing both a supervisor and a topic, we provide a file containing suggested thesis topics – for both bachelor’s and master’s theses (an Excel file attached to the selection procedure for the 2025–2026 academic year).
Faculty members organize online meetings (via MS Teams), between 15 and 21 October 2025, to answer your questions regarding the proposed topics. The schedule and meeting links are available in the same file. You are kindly asked to participate in the meetings organized by the faculty members under whose supervision you wish to develop your bachelor’s or master’s thesis.
Afterward, each student must complete a form, in which they may select up to three preferred topics/supervisors. It is recommended to choose topics and supervisors from different areas of study. Based on your preferences and the arguments provided for each selected topic, the faculty members will make their selections.
The final results will be announced at the end of October, and students who are not selected during this process will have the opportunity to contact any faculty members who are still available to supervise bachelor’s or master’s theses.
